[ 29] Marsil: How much do you know about...
Sat Feb 17 22:56:25 2007
To: all
Although the majority of us fall well outside of the highest of classes,
there's a lot to be learned from observing the lives of kings, queens,
nobles, and people of considerable political might. Everything they do
tends to be scrutinized and analyzed by all sorts of historians and
philosophers, and many lessons that can be applied to everyday life can be
learned from the successes and follies of these ruling folk.
At any rate, I think it's a good investment of time to learn about the
history of kings, queens, and nobility. In hopes of sharing knowledge with
the world in the true Dawning spirit, I've come up with a set of questions
pertaining to the lives and stories of kings, queens, nobility, and
politicians for everyone to test their knowledge on. Since the warm and
wonderful feeling of becoming wiser isn't incentive enough for most people
to go out and learn something new about something old, I've also prepared
some wonderful prizes for people who put an honest effort into learning
about royalty and nobility and try to answer the questions on my test.
So, read the questions, try to find the answers to as many as you can, and
send them to me on a scroll. The questions are nailed up around the city
on bulletins reading help marsiltrivia, and I'll be accepting answers for
a period of seven days. Depending on whether or not people are able to
get all of the questions correct or not, I will award prizes based on
either the first people to answer all of the questions correctly, or if
time runs out, the people knew the most answers. Good luck!

As always, submit a complete list of your answers to Marsil in writing.
While you are welcome to submit as many attempts as you'd like, please
submit all of your answers at once with every scroll. Also, right or
wrong, new submissions will replace any old answers you may have
submitted, so you may want to wait for me to tell you which of your
answers are correct and incorrect before trying again. This is only a
suggestion, though.
And one last thing- some of these questions are HARD, and I don't expect
anyone to get them all correct. The only hint I can give is that the
point values of each question reflect how easy they are. If you are
getting stumped by a 1-point question, you might be thinking too hard.
Try digging up old literature or asking around.
