Kedra has submitted a new piece of artwork which has been added to Artwork.

A new online Romany dictionary, Romlex, has been added to Talk the Talk.

Congrats to everyone for getting the votes up to #33! Very awesome! Right now we're tied for #32 and less than 50 votes away from #31, so please keep the votes going! Also, a big thank you goes to Lorelei Leaflover, who very kindly took the time to help with the armor list in updating and validating some of the stats. The updates can be found in the [Encyclopedia] under Equipment.

More recent events have made for another Staff change, with the promotion of Sallestier to Inferno guild imm. Also check out the new Staff Listing, an updated profile from Marsil, and a new profile from Basco and Blake. And just a friendly reminder, don't forget to VOTE! It's harder to move up in the ranks now since there are larger gaps, but I REALLY want to change the top to 'Top 30 Muds'!

Recent events have made for some Staff changes, including the promotion of Blake to Arcaenum guild imm. The staff has also provided alot of new Statistics about the player base, as well as lists for the greatest addicts and those most into pain. Check to see if you're on the list!

Please congratulate Parviane on his promotion to Implementor! As a result, our Staff listing has been updated to the most current arrangement. Aequitas is no longer listed on the staff page, but the guild information can still be viewed under [Information].

New to our [Encyclopedia] is a listing to help low-level players equip themselves without breaking the bank. You can find it under [Equipment] listed as Basic Leveling Armor. This is, as the title states (funny how that works) a BASIC list and by no means the absolute resource. Read up on our [Areas] and our [Training] resources to find other places in your range that may hold resources for the growing adventurer.

Shaunsdown has arrived! Shaunsdown is a very interactive and unique area with plenty to do, so make sure to stop by! A little confused on how to go about it? The web and game files have merged, so you can find a new and complete place to find out more about mini-quests and mysteries in [Areas] and [Training].

Additions to the [Encyclopedia] coming soon, with new Shaunsdown eq and more!

Our Encyclopedia has a re-vamped section on Areas. The maps are updated to reflect the game and some new area summaries have been added in as well. A divine scroll has also offered another jewel for the Vault, be sure to take a peek at our Player Quotes.

Coming up on 34, great job! We're not moving as quickly as we were because of larger gaps in the ranks, so be persistent and vote every day!

Two new area descriptions have been added to the [Encyclopedia]. If you've never visited the Dwarven Catacombs or the Chapel Catacombs, read up and head out! Also remember that players are encouraged to submit area descriptions, so if an area you like doesn't have one, note it to imp or email me and I'll forward it along.

Two thorough guides about Character Crossing have been added in to both the game and website. They are listed in our [Training] section, but veteran players should review these as well for a brush-up. Also be sure to check back soon for some new items in our [Encyclopedia].

Ren has been very busy providing us with fodder, I mean quality content, for the site. Be sure to check out his imm-profile and his contribution to our Vault, found under Player Quotes.

Congratulations to our two new admins, Draban and Ren. Since they're brand new I don't have profiles for them yet, but be sure to remind them in a polite fashion, and if you get smacked, I am absolved of all responsibility. It says so in the [Disclaimer]. I think. I'll add it in. Anyhow. Someone has also dropped a jewel of a new quote into the Vault, not sure who sent it in, but thanks all the same!

Well, DarkRisings has had its share of snotty, poopy, puking bundles of joy, but we now have our first picture of one! Thanks to Xanaphia for hunting down this family snaphot, now part of our Art Gallery in the Vault.

[Brawler] and The [Rose] have been added in, and the PK Guide can now be found in our Training section. It's incredibly awesome, and has been under our noses for a long time, but no one seemed to know about it, so I encourage new and veteran alike to have a read.

So I've been slackin'. That really shouldn't be a shock. But I'm playing around and tweaking some things for the next few weeks, so if links suddenly start acting buggy or you see something outdated, please e-mail me and I can add it to the list!

Meanwhile, try your hand at Marsil's latest trivia quest! It's running for the next week. You can also try your hand at some of the older trivia quests to see just how smart you are (or just think you are!)

Did you hear the news? Sidonie kicked some ass and got us an updated Book of Mortals! There are tons of fantastic reads on the Legends of Rhia, as well as the Myths we always seem to hear about. A bit belatedly, Dark Risings welcomes Myadack as immortal to Vermillion. I'm selfishly taking the opportunity to say "Hey! Send me an imm-profile!" Why? Cause that's one of the few things I can get away with. By the way, Hi Basco! *SUBTLENUDGEHINT*

That being said, some of the Areas have been updated, and did you know we have a calendar? I'm like a mushroom, I'm telling you people. Well we have one here now as well, listed under our Training section.

I don't know about all that "Praise to Tyrin" junk, but I'll give praise to Halrian for giving me something to do. He just added in his self-portrait to our Vault. So I guess I'm going to have to start paying attention around here. *mutter* And since I have to work, so do you, so VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!

Flocrian has been diligently hunting anything and everything he can to get to help keep the Encyclopedia current. Be sure to check out his progress with Armor stats, and maybe contribute what you might know! I also found a use for the long empty Clans slot of the Encyclopedia, you'll now find the beginning phases of our Dark Risings Statistics.

So I get my internet back on line just in time to get a new quote, provided for your enjoyment in our Player Quotes. Not that I really get it, or have a clue what it means, but it looks like I missed all the fun.

Xanaphia and Yuneo seem to have an interesting relationship... check it out in the Player Quotes. Wonder if Talthia knows?? And Verundal has a profile now!!! I paid someone to sneak into the Order's Palace and copy it from the roster there. Shhhhh.

There's been some tweaking of the Training version of Roleplaying to include Guild RP, which while listed as a secondary helpfile under Vermillion, is an excellent guideline for ALL guilded players. There's also a strategy guide called Roleplay 101 in which you'll find not only the misplaced guides from the training version, but some additional information as well. If you don't like it, shoot the messenger, because she wrote it.

Parviane has given us some leverage to pick on him... unfortunately, I have no idea what half of it means. Check out his Staff page and you'll know what I mean. I'm also in the midst of working to update Equipment, and I need your help! Check out the armor table to see what I'm still missing.

There seems to be a little trouble with confirmation emails and the mailing list, and Andy is working on a fix for it. So far you can still sign up, but check the note board for the latest. Also, we're having an INACTIVITY WIPE in the next week, so if you don't know what that is, I suggest you log on and read Parviane's note.

Andy has set up a mailing list, so to keep yourself updated on the latest, click here to subscribe. Also, there's a new strategy guide, Talk the Talk, offering some resources for race specific language and RP.

I'm just as guilty as everyone else, I haven't looked in the library for a long, long time... normally because Blake's butt is always in the way. However, I was able to sneak in there the other night (I think he ran out of absinthe) and find out that there's alot of newer guild histories to be persued. You can now find these under the histories of Arcaenum, Covenance, Gypsy, and Vermillion.

Daurentoir's story has finally made it into the pages of History. Some new areas have been added to our overflowing Encyclopedia, including maps of Arinock and Visegrad.

Muristang and Marsil have ever so kindly added their profiles to our Staff page. You can now contact the webmistress in game via note, just send it to Arachnya, because you'll rarely catch her for a tell.

Your webmistress has been hard at work going undercover to discover the best strategies our Rhianites have to offer. The collection has begun and it can be found under Strategy. A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to Combat 101.

You may notice that the format of our site has changed somewhat - hopefully this will allow for easier navigation. Guild Histories can now be found under the respective Guild. The Vault has also changed around just a bit. Finally, if you're looking for the Building link, it's now listed under Information.

We've had a few submissions lately, and man do I love those. Someone sitting near Oksah the other day caught a quote that should become a help file, and Rhaedryn gave his advice to young and old players alike with his Player Tip.

We've updated and added some new files to our Training section. Our Staff list has also been updated again, because DR staff are kind of like rabbits in an unsupervised area, they multiply alot. Check back soon for more new updates!

Oksah has finally decided to reveal all in her portrait, drawn by a long distance friend. To see the face that has long been loved by men and jealously sneered at by women, visit the Vault's collection of Artwork. And try not to drool all over yourself, we just cleaned the carpets in there.

Our builder site is in the process of being tweaked a bit - it should be finished in a week or two. Our Staff page has been updated to include our new Vermillion and Crimson Rain leaders.

Our training section has been updated to include two new/improved in-game helpfiles regarding Roleplaying and Reincarnation. The original Book of Mortals is now complete and available. I highly recommend the works of Quillan and Kassakhia for some interesting history lessons, and certainly the other books as well.

If some of our latest updates haven't worked for you, don't worry, it's because your resident WebMistress is a crackhead. They work now. Madelaine's history is now available for public reading and gossiping. The original Book of Mortals is being scrubbed up for public viewing, be sure to nominate for new candidates in-game by sending a note to IMM.

Magni has given us the graven image of his likeness, so if you want to see a fine Dawning man, make sure you walk through the gallery of Player Artwork. Thanks again for the submission!
