The Dwarven Kingdom once was the source of great wealth, largely due to
the rich mines to the north known as Dwerger. But Queen Xerina instructed
her miners to dig too deeply, ignoring all the signs of warning and
disturbing the ancient wards of protection. From the depths of the earth
came a creature so foul that no dwarf could stand against it. After decades
of slaughter, the dwarves finally withdrew, and Dwerger now stands empty
save for those too reckless or ignorant to fear its hollow tunnels and
plundered caves. The Dwerger mines are located in the mountains between
Ofcol City and the Dwarven Kingdom.
