Up the Penella River, the mighty stream splits into two tributaries.
One branch flows south into the lands that make up the unstable Avariel
Kingdom. The citizens of this land are still divided from a recent
coup against the king, lead by the Lady Liatania. Rumors fill the
streets and loyalties constantly shift in this tree-top land of the
enchanted avariels. Disease, hidden treasures, and missing heirs are
just part of the intrigue that fills this court.
Yet, with all the worries that weigh on the kingdom's citizens, their
fey nature cannot be suppressed. Citizens from all areas of the Realms
travel here to be wed, as well as take part in some of the games of
chance that the avariels offer.
